A feature on Umatalu are the flush teak decks and an attractive guest cockpit with comfortable seating, a spray hood and varnished dining table while the working aft cockpit has steering wheel, engine controls and powered winches for main sheets and halyards.
The dinghy dock in the stern opens hydraulically and accommodates a small reserve tender, fenders and other items.
